Looking over these grads working in the Music Biz, they are a diverse lot. They all worked really hard. Most had temporary jobs in the business ( bars ). They spent long hours & much effort networking and making contacts. Most worked for free or for very little pay while they gained priceless EXPERIENCE.

ABC radio | KQRS - St. Paul
Teresa works in Promotions for ABC/ KQ. She began by passing out countless flyers at 93X shows. After a while, she moved up to low-pay intern duties. Her persistence & great can-do attitude led to a full time job, working on KQ radio promo.

Victory Records - Chicago
Maygen interviewed at Victory Records w/ a great portfolio. She had an iPod music video she starred in & edited. She had done some street team work for Victory. The Record label created a position for her in Publicity & Internet Promotions.

Koch Entertainment International
Minnesota Fats gave a hilarious grad speech with high praise for the Music Biz program & his teachers. The local Label he launched (WEON) has sold 30,000 CDs. He recently signed to Koch, and is poised for stardom.

ARM - Management & Booking
St. Paul
Jesse completed her degree as a 4.0 student doing some of the departments best creative & editing projects. Her love of heavy metal rock 'n roll led her to (first) an intern position, and now a job at the Midwest's premier rocking agency, ARM.

I4Got - One Stop Internet Branding, Promo and Recording
Nick hustled up jobs and internships at First Ave, the Fine Line and Asche & Spencer studios. He acquired an assortment of music/web/graphc skills while at MSB. His company, I4Got Music has now relocated to new opportunities on the West Coast - Seattle.
